  • Dr Ronald Ti

    PhD (Military Logistics, KCL), MA (Strategic studies, Maynooth) MBBS (Melb), PG DTM&H (JCU), Grad Cert Mgt (UNE) Grad Cert Bus Admin(Syd),FRACGP, FACTM, psc (Higher Comd).

    Dr Ronald Ti has been the medical director of Anodyne Medical since the company was started in 2004. He holds postgraduate degrees in tropical medicine, public health, military logistics, management and business administration.

    He enjoyed a 30+ year career in the Australian Defence Force where he was a force health protection specialist with training in aeromedical, underwater, tropical, medical evacuation specialties. Dr Ti was awarded the PhD in Military Logistics from Defence Studies Department of King's College London in 2025 researching the resilience of NATO military logistic units at the tactical level of war in NATO Article V Large Scale Combat Operations.

    Dr Ti’s military career has included seven operational deployments (three with the UN), a Defence Cooperation Program posting to Papua New Guinea, an exchange with the British Army, and Higher Command course at a NATO staff college.

  • Gavin Torrens

    Gavin has operated as the managing director of ASA since 2011. Leading the business commercially over this time has seen successful contracting globally medical, security, training, procurement and consulting services.

    Working in environments including Afghanistan, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Pacific, and of course here in Australia the experiences have been as challenging as they have been varied.

    As a commercial consultant, Gavin has successfully guided organisations in the areas of structure and design, commercial development and sales and marketing.

    Organisations have included resources sector operators, procurement firms, training providers, engineering and service businesses domestically and internationally.
